Concert Piano Tuning and Preparation of the Performance Piano

DESCRIPTION
This course
focuses on teaching the advanced student the special methods and
procedures needed to prepare the grand piano for a concert performance.
The student
will learn high-level grand regulation, special "tricks" for preparing
the piano within certain time restraints, hammer voicing for temporary
effects, and working with the pianist to achieve desired results.
Techniques
will be taught for performing "super tunings" which will be stable
throughout the concert.
